I don’t know about you but lately I have been falling into the trap of TOXIC SPEECH!
Say What! No, not Aven…yes, Aven! I am guilty as charged….TOXIC SPEECH can be found everywhere and before you know it, you start to chime in…giving your two cents!
But wait!...as daughters of God, we should be speaking faith-filled words, positive words, words that bring edification to a situation or to a circumstance. We should be offering hope not adding more toxic sludge to the TOXIC environment!!!
Let’s commit to turn this around! May our speech be seasoned with grace instead of toxic words. We are to speak the thoughts of goodness that is in our hearts and not from the toxic environment that we may find ourselves in. Even when we have to speak the painful truth, may we do so in a manner that is befitting of the Christ that we represent. May we rise up as the Queens that we are and speak boldly but letting kindness be our boundary.
Crowning Thoughts: Lets apply this verse to us as ladies--- As a woman thinks in her heart, so is she (Proverbs 23:7) (Italics are my adaptation of the verse)
Let’s commit to adjust our crowns a little bit. So before we speak, we should T.H.I.N.K.!
